Privacy policy.

What we collect, how we use it, and the choices that belong to you. Written without the cover of legal-ese.

This privacy notice explains what information Credit Proud, a website operated by CallSync Solutions s.r.o., collects, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you. Credit Proud is an educational website. We do not need your Social Security number, full account numbers, bank card numbers, online banking credentials, or copies of sensitive financial documents through general contact forms or email.

If you want help understanding a credit report, collection notice, or card statement charge, describe the issue in general terms first. We will tell you if a safer or more specific channel is needed.

01

Information you choose to give us.

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you contact us, subscribe to updates, ask a question, or request a follow-up. This may include your name, email address, phone number, the topic you ask about, and any details you include in your message.

Please do not send highly sensitive financial or identity information unless we specifically ask for it through an appropriate channel. General site contact is for education, triage, and routing, not for storing complete financial records.

02

Site usage information.

Like most websites, we may receive basic technical information when you visit, such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and interactions with site features. Some privacy laws treat this as personal information, so we handle it as information connected to your use of the site.

We use Google Analytics through gtag.js to measure visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, and general site interactions. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies, to distinguish users and sessions, and Google may process usage information under its own terms and settings. Our site code configures the Google Analytics tag with Google Signals and ad-personalization signals disabled.

We do not send the contents of contact forms, Social Security numbers, account numbers, bank card numbers, online banking credentials, or sensitive financial documents to Google Analytics.

California Disclosure re: Do Not Track Signals from Web Browsers — The website is not presently configured to support Do Not Track ("DNT") signals from web browsers.

03

How we use information.

We use information for limited purposes tied to the site and your requests:

  • Responding to questions, contact requests, and support messages
  • Sending service-related messages about a request you made
  • Sending newsletters or educational updates only when you sign up for them
  • Operating, securing, debugging, and improving the website
  • Measuring content performance and understanding which guides are useful
  • Complying with legal obligations and protecting rights, safety, and site integrity

A general contact request lets us reply about that request. It is not permission for marketing calls or texts from Credit Proud or an independent partner. If telephone or text marketing is ever offered, it must use a separate consent path for that outreach.

04

Independent partner phone line and referrals.

Some pages offer a toll-free number answered by a vetted, independent partner rather than Credit Proud staff. If you call that number or ask us to connect you with a specialist, the partner may collect information directly from you and handle it under that partner's own policies and legal obligations.

We do not ask independent partners to treat a general website message to Credit Proud as consent for partner marketing calls or texts.

05

When we share information.

We share information only in the situations needed to operate the site and respond to your request:

  • With service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, email, or maintain the website
  • With a specialist, partner, or provider only when you ask us to make that connection or consent to the referral
  • As required or permitted by law
  • To protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of Credit Proud, our users, or others
  • In the event of a business transaction (e.g., merger or acquisition)

We do not sell the contact details you submit to Credit Proud through the website as a standalone marketing list. We do not intentionally provide sensitive financial or identity details to analytics or advertising providers, and you should not include those details in general contact messages.

06

What choices do I have.

You can choose not to provide optional information. You can also unsubscribe from newsletters or educational marketing emails at any time.

To change your communication preferences, you can:

  • Email us at cs@creditproud.com
  • Follow the unsubscribe or preference instructions in marketing emails

Service-related messages about a request you made may still be sent when needed to answer you, complete your request, or maintain site security.

07

How do I update or correct my personal information.

Please email cs@creditproud.com if you want to update, correct, or delete information you previously provided to us. We may need to keep limited information when required for legal, security, or operational reasons. We cannot update, modify, or correct information about you that we do not control.

08

How do we protect your personal information.

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards for the information we handle. No website, email system, or internet transmission is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive financial or identity information through general contact channels.

  • We limit access to people and providers who need it for the purposes described in this policy
  • We use HTTPS for website traffic
  • We review the information we collect so that general contact channels do not become long-term storage for sensitive financial records
09

Changes to privacy policy.

We may update this policy as the site, our practices, or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date if one is added.

10

For users outside of the United States.

Credit Proud is published for a U.S. audience. The website and the service providers that support it may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

11

Legal Disclaimer.

This policy describes our privacy practices for the website. It is not a contract for legal, tax, financial, credit-repair, debt-settlement, or identity-theft services.
